Powder-Cloud

At Raw Creative, I worked on designing an outdoor bench in Aspen, Colorado, made from over 280 marine-grade plywood pieces arranged in a "cloud" shape. The project involved design assistance, fabrication, and installation. The bench was divided into eight sections, assembled with threaded rods and spacers, and anchored to a concrete wall. I worked on approval drawings and managed the project during fabrication, coordinating closely with the CNC operator and operations manager to ensure precise cutting and labeling. Quick and seamless installation was required, so I assisted in planning the most effective route for this installation. The project’s client and general contractor were Shaw Construction, and Acetola Landscape Architects designed the bench.
